Dear visitors, Turkish citizens who wish to travel to Afghanistan for business meetings, fairs, conferences, or similar commercial purposes are required to obtain an Afghanistan Business Visa. This visa is granted specifically for short-term visits related to business activities. Applications must be made through accredited agencies, and all documents must be carefully prepared in accordance with the procedures.
Applications can be completed without personally visiting the consulate. Once your documents are sent to the authorized agency, they are checked, and if complete, your application will be submitted on your behalf to the relevant consular authorities. This allows your visa process to proceed smoothly and without unnecessary delays.
📌 Documents Required for Afghanistan Business Visa
The following documents must be prepared when applying for an Afghanistan business visa:
- Invitation Letter: It must be obtained from a company operating in Afghanistan, written on the company's letterhead, and should be stamped and signed. The contact information of the inviting company, the details of the invited person, and the purpose of the visit must be clearly stated.
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months with 2 blank visa pages. A copy of the identity page and all processed pages must also be submitted.
- Visa Application Form: It must be filled out completely, written in capital letters with a black ink pen, and signed by the applicant.
- Biometric Photographs: Two recent passport-size photographs with a white background, taken within the last 6 months.
- Flight Ticket Reservation: It should be prepared according to the travel dates, but the ticket should not be purchased.
- Accommodation Details: Hotel or residence reservation in Afghanistan.
- Company Documents: Tax certificate, trade registry gazette, certificate of activity, and signature circulars.
- Additional Documents for Employees: Employment letter, SGK entry declaration, last 3 months’ payslips, and leave permission letter from the employer.
- Additional Documents for Employers: Petition written on company letterhead explaining the nature of the business activities, signed and stamped by the owner.
🕒 Afghanistan Commercial Visa Process
Business visa applications are generally finalized within 7 to 15 business days. However, processing times may be extended during official holidays or periods of high demand. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that applications be submitted at least one month before the planned travel date.
