🇦🇴 Required Documents for Angola Business Visa

The Angola Business Visa falls under the “standard visa” category. This category includes business meetings, trade fair and conference participation, business projects, religious visits, as well as family, friend, or relative visits. However, the Angola Tourist Visa does not fall under the “standard visa” category. There is no distinction between passport types in the visa regulations between Angola and Türkiye. Holders of Ordinary, Special, Service, and Diplomatic passports are all required to obtain a visa before traveling to Angola for business purposes. The business visa grants a stay of up to 30 days in Angola.

Once approved, the Angola Business Visa must be used within 60 days and allows the passport holder to remain in the country for 30 days. The visa may also be extended twice, each for an additional 30-day period. Information on visa extensions can be obtained from the Embassy of Angola in Ankara.

📌 Required Documents for Angola Business Visa

Applicants must prepare the following documents for an Angola Business Visa:

Invitation Letter: Must be obtained from the inviting company or individual residing in Angola. It should be signed and stamped by the host or company representative. A copy of the host’s Angolan national ID card should be attached to the invitation.

Visa Application Form: The Angola standard application form must be filled out completely in block letters using black ink. The application date must be stated, and the form must be personally signed by the applicant.

Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months and contain two blank visa pages. A copy of the identity page and pages with visas must also be submitted.

Photographs: Two recent color passport-sized photos taken within the last six months with a white background.

Flight Reservation: A flight booking must be presented, but tickets should not be purchased before the visa is approved. The reservation must match the travel dates stated in the petition. In addition, the Embassy requires a document outlining the full travel plan.

Yellow Fever Vaccination Card: Mandatory for entry into Angola.

🕒 Processing Time for Angola Visa

The Embassy of Angola generally processes visa applications within 5 to 15 working days. During official public holidays in Angola and Türkiye, the Embassy does not operate, which can extend processing times. It is recommended to apply at least one month prior to the planned travel date to ensure timely approval.

📌 Important Notes on Angola Visa Applications

The most important requirement for a successful application is to prepare documents that are complete, up to date, and accurate. Missing or incorrect documents can result in delays or a visa refusal. The Embassy of Angola reserves the right to request additional documents if deemed necessary.

The final decision-making authority for visa approval lies solely with the Embassy of Angola. Applicants are advised not to purchase flight tickets until the visa has been issued.

The Angola Business Visa provides the opportunity to attend fairs, hold business meetings, and build commercial connections in the country. With complete documentation, the application process proceeds smoothly.
