🇦🇪 Dubai Business Visa
The Dubai Business Visa is a visa category required for traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for conferences, fairs, client visits, or short-term business purposes. This visa does not grant the holder the right to work, open a business, or stay in the UAE beyond the visa period. Dubai business visa applications can only be made through UAE-authorized visa application centers; individual applications are not possible.
Required Documents for Dubai Business Visa (2025)
Passport: A color scan of the 2nd page of your valid passport is sufficient for the application. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your Dubai travel. Sending the scanned passport and proof of visa fee payment via email to the authorized application center is enough to start the application.
Note: Photos taken by phone are not accepted for the application.
There is no obligation to provide an invitation letter for Dubai business visa applications.
Important Notes Before Applying
- Long-term Dubai business visas are not being issued until a new decision is made. Current visas are single-entry and allow a stay of 28 days within 60 days.
- Foreign applicants must have a residence permit in Turkey valid for at least 6 more months.
- The Dubai business visa does not allow staying, working, or opening a business in the UAE beyond the visa period. Overstaying may result in severe financial and administrative penalties.
Who Needs a Dubai Business Visa?
- Ordinary (Bordo) Passport holders are required to have a Dubai business visa.
- Special (Green), Service (Gray), and Diplomatic (Red) Passport holders are exempt from short-term travel visas.
Dubai Business Visa Application Process
- Sending Documents: Send a color scan of the photo page of your passport along with the visa fee payment receipt via email to the authorized application center.
- Application Processing: Once your documents are received, your Dubai visa application is processed the same day through the online system by the authorized center.
- Result and Approval: The Dubai business visa is usually processed within approximately 3 working days. The UAE Immigration Office does not operate on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Once approved, the visa is not stamped in the passport; it is issued on official letterhead with a barcode by the UAE Immigration Office.
Important Information and Warnings
- The visa period starts from the day you enter the country.
- Overstaying may result in penalties and may prevent future entry to the UAE.
- Dubai visas are not issued for citizens of Syria, Iraq, and Palestine.
- Single female applicants may be asked to provide their parents’ surnames.
- The Dubai business visa is single-entry and allows a 28-day stay within 60 days.
