📌 Armenia Visa Types and Who Can Apply
The Armenia e-Visa system issues short-term visas for tourism, business, and family/friend visits, all of which are single-entry and offered in two alternatives: a visa valid for 90 days with a maximum stay of 21 days, and a visa valid for 180 days with a maximum stay of 120 days. 📝 Required Documents and Application
The Armenia e-Visa application is much simpler compared to classical visas. The process is completed by uploading the scanned copy of the passport information page and the scanned copy of a biometric photo with a white background that meets the criteria. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the planned trip. In the online form, identity, contact, travel purpose, and accommodation details must be provided consistently. Documents such as professional certificates, bank account statements, travel health insurance, and social security records, which are generally required in classical visas, are not required for the Armenia visa.

The Armenia visa fee varies depending on the selected duration. A single-entry visa valid for 90 days allowing up to 21 days of stay is 97 USD, while a single-entry visa valid for 180 days allowing up to 120 days of stay is 124 USD. These fees include the consular fee and the service charge, but VAT is excluded. Fees can be paid online by credit card, by bank transfer, or in person. After the application is submitted, visa and additional service fees are non-refundable. In case of cancellation before the application, only the consular and external service provider fee can be refunded.

🟩 Special, Service, and Diplomatic Passports
For holders of special (green), service (gray), and diplomatic (black/red) passports, Armenia does not provide e-Visa or visa on arrival. Although there are statements that visas can be obtained at the airport with an official invitation, in practice this process carries many risks. Therefore, holders of these passports must apply for a classic visa through Armenian consulates in third countries, the most preferred being the Armenian Consulate in Tbilisi, Georgia. Another option is to apply for a second ordinary passport, since every Turkish citizen can legally hold two passports at the same time. By obtaining a second burgundy passport, they can apply for an Armenia visa and travel to Armenia without giving up their green passport. For ordinary passport holders, the Armenia visa can also be obtained at Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport.
