Turkish citizens who will travel to Ghana for business purposes such as fairs, seminars, conferences, contracts, partnerships, or meetings are required to obtain a Ghana Business Visa before their journey, regardless of passport type. How many days does it take to get a Ghana business visa?
On average, it is concluded within 3–5 working days. Depending on workload, official holidays, and additional document requests, the period may vary. It is recommended to apply at least 10 days before your travel date.
Is it mandatory to come in person?
No. Unless specifically requested by the consulate, applicants are not required to appear in person. Applications are completed through file submission.
Is quarantine applied to business travelers?
A rapid PCR test is performed at entry; if no symptoms are present, there is no quarantine requirement.
Do I need to purchase the hotel and flight ticket?
There is no requirement to purchase before visa approval. Reservation or optional booking documents are sufficient unless otherwise requested.
What should be considered in the application?
Entry city, Yellow Fever vaccination card, COVID vaccination card, and travel health insurance are important. The tax declaration of the inviting company is also requested.
Do green passport holders need a visa?
Yes. Green passport holders must also obtain a visa like ordinary passport holders.
📝 Required Documents for Ghana Business Visa (2025)
You can obtain your Ghana Business Visa without going to the Ghana Embassy in Ankara or the Ghana Consulate in Istanbul. For this, it is sufficient to prepare the necessary documents for the Ghana Business Visa and send them to our offices by courier. After checking your documents, if no deficiencies are found, your application will be submitted without requiring your presence. Once approved, your passport will be delivered to your address by courier.
Personal Documents:
The visa application form must be completed in English and in capital letters, in 4 copies. Your passport must not be older than ten years, must be valid for at least six months from your return date, and must contain at least two blank pages. Four recent photographs, size 5×5 cm, with a white background, must be pasted onto the form. A single-page photocopy of the front and back of your ID card must be included in the file. Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory; a photocopy of the international vaccination certificate must be attached.
Professional and commercial documents:
An invitation letter obtained from the company in Ghana is mandatory; copies of the inviter’s identity and passport must also be attached. On the company letterhead, a visa request petition in English addressed to the consulate must be prepared; it should clearly state the applicant’s title, the purpose of the visit, the name of the company to be visited, the exact dates of the visit, and a commitment to return before the visa expires. The company’s signature circulars, tax plate, trade registry gazette, and certificate of activity from the last three months must be submitted. Salary slips for the last three months must be stamped and wet-signed. SGK/Bağ-Kur service statement and SGK employment entry declaration must be obtained from the e-Government system with a barcode. The company’s bank statement showing transactions from the last three months, with sufficient balance, must be submitted together with a stamp, signature, and signature circulars.

🧾 About the Business Visa Invitation
The backbone of the application is the invitation letter, which must be issued by a company in Ghana that has an official workplace and valid status. Before being sent, the invitation must be approved by the Ghana Ministry of Interior and then delivered to the applicant in Turkey. If required, work permit procedures must also be completed before the Ghana Immigration Service. The return date must be clearly indicated in the file, and it should be noted that the invitation letter is valid for a maximum of 3 months.

🛬 Entry Requirements with a Business Visa
A business visa does not grant the right to work in Ghana; penalties will be applied if actual work is detected in the country.
