🇨🇬 Congo Visa Application
Turkish citizens traveling to the Republic of Congo are required to follow visa procedures depending on their passport type. Holders of special (green) and ordinary (burgundy) passports are subject to a visa, while only diplomatic passport holders are exempt from visas for short stays up to 90 days. Congo visa applications are evaluated and finalized solely by the Embassy of the Republic of Congo. The first step in the application is to complete the visa application form accurately, truthfully, and consistently.
During the application process, it is very important that all documents are up to date, complete, and in accordance with official criteria. To avoid risks to your trip, it is recommended that you complete your application at least 10 days before your travel date. The average processing time is between 7–10 business days. The Embassy of the Republic of Congo accepts visa fees only in Euro.

🕒 Important Notes Before Traveling to Congo
There are no direct flights from Turkey to Congo. Trips are usually made via Paris, Dubai, Casablanca, or Addis Ababa. Alternatively, travelers may enter the Republic of Congo via the Democratic Republic of Congo’s capital, Kinshasa, and then cross to Brazzaville by boat.
Since 2014, the country has enforced strict inspections and deportations against unregistered foreign workers. Therefore, it is strongly advised that you carry your passport with you, keep it secure, and for long-term stays, register with the Embassy to obtain a consular identity card.
For travel to Congo, compliance with the recommendations of the Turkish General Directorate of Border and Coastal Health regarding health precautions—particularly the mandatory yellow fever vaccination—is of great importance.
