🇨🇺 Cuba Tourist Visa
Turkish citizens who wish to travel to Cuba for tourism purposes are required to follow visa procedures that vary depending on their passport type. Holders of Ordinary (burgundy) passports must obtain a visa to enter Cuba. Holders of Special (green), Service (grey), and Diplomatic (black) passports are exempt from visas for short-term visits. For holders of burgundy passports, the Cuba tourist visa, also known as the Cuba Tourist Card, is issued shortly after the application is made.
No matter which city you reside in within Turkey, you can easily complete your Cuba tourist visa application through Marsel Visa. You do not need to be personally present at the consulate during the application process. It is sufficient to send us a scanned color copy of the identity page of your passport and one photograph. You may deliver your documents by courier, cargo, or through a third person. Once your application is approved, your Cuba Tourist Card will be sent to your address by courier, or if you wish, you can collect it in person from our central office.
📌 Cuba Tourist Visa Application Requirements
Cuba visas are not issued as stickers placed in your passport but are arranged as a travel card approved by the Embassy of Cuba and stamped by the authorized visa service. Therefore, you do not need to send your original passport. However, your passport must be undamaged, not worn, and valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.
The Cuba Tourist Card is single-entry and allows a stay of 30 days after entering the country. This period can be extended for another 30 days by applying to the official authorities. It is mandatory to keep your card with you along with your passport throughout your trip.
With Cuban visas obtained from Turkey, it is not possible to enter Cuba via the United States. Passengers planning to travel via the U.S. are advised to obtain up-to-date information from the Embassy of Cuba in Washington.
