🇱🇮 Required Documents for a Liechtenstein Tourist Visa
For short-term tourist trips to Liechtenstein, you must obtain a tourist visa. Stays shorter than 90 days fall under the Schengen visa category. The documents required depend on the applicant’s personal and professional status. In general, the following are requested:
Standard Documents
Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your return date, must not be older than 10 years, and must contain at least 2 blank pages. If you have previous Schengen visas, include photocopies in your application file.
The Liechtenstein Schengen visa application form must be completed accurately according to your travel purpose and signed where necessary.
Two biometric photographs sized 35x45 mm, recent and meeting Schengen standards, are required.
Travel health insurance covering the entire trip and valid in all Schengen countries, with a minimum coverage of €30,000.
Flight tickets and hotel reservations must match your planned travel dates.
Proof of financial means such as the last 3 months of bank statements.
Full civil registry record and a photocopy of your national ID card.

Payroll slips for the last 3 months, stamped and signed
Social Security (SGK) employment entry document and SGK service statement (with barcode from e-Devlet)
Visa request letter written in English on company letterhead, addressed to the consulate
Company documents: tax certificate, certificate of activity, trade registry gazette, and signature circular
For Employers

SGK 4B service statement (with barcode from e-Devlet)

📝 How to Apply for a Liechtenstein Tourist Visa?
Ordinary (maroon) passport holders must obtain a tourist visa for Liechtenstein. Holders of Special (green), Service (grey), and Diplomatic (black) passports are exempt from visas for short-term stays. Applications are processed by the Swiss Consulate in Istanbul. If you have already provided biometric data (fingerprints) for Schengen visas within the past 5 years, you may not need to appear in person. If it is your first time applying, you must visit the consulate to give your biometric data.
🕒 How Long Does It Take to Get a Liechtenstein Tourist Visa?
Applications are usually finalized within 15 business days. However, processing times may vary depending on consular workload, official holidays, or requests for additional documents. To avoid delays, it is recommended to apply at least 20 days before and no earlier than 3 months prior to your trip.

Applications can be completed by sending your documents by courier from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Bursa, Edirne, and other cities. If you have not previously submitted biometric data for Schengen visas, you must appear in person at the consulate. Marsel Visa staff will accompany you during your fingerprint appointment.
