The processing times for Egypt visa applications are not fixed and vary depending on the applicant’s age. In particular, applications from individuals under the age of 45 may take several months due to detailed evaluations conducted by Egyptian diplomatic missions. In contrast, visa applications for individuals over 45 are typically processed within three business days. During the review process, passports of applicants under 45 are returned to them and later resubmitted to the Consulate for visa stamping once the investigation is completed. Therefore, it is not recommended to purchase paid hotel or flight reservations before obtaining your visa result.

Turkish citizens holding ordinary (Bordo) passports are required to obtain a visa to travel to Egypt. However, holders of special (Yeşil), service (Gri), and diplomatic (Siyah) passports are exempt from visa requirements for stays not exceeding 90 days.
