As of 2025, the single-entry 30-day Russia visa fee is 180 USD. Fees for Russian business visas, electronic visas, and family visit visas vary depending on the visa type and number of entries.
According to recent regulations, holders of gray, green, and black passports can travel to Russia without a visa. Green and gray passport holders can enter Russia without paying any fee. Black passport holders can visit Russia without a visa for stays up to 90 days. Holders of maroon passports must apply for a visa and pay the applicable fee. Visa fees may change periodically and vary according to the number of entries and duration of stay.

Russia Family Visit Visa
In addition to standard documents, a letter of invitation is required for a family visit visa. The invitation must come from a first-degree relative or someone with Russian residence. The application does not need to be submitted in person; documents can be sent by courier. A family visit visa allows participation in tourism and business activities but does not grant work or marriage rights. The invitation letter must be from a Russian citizen or a person with Russian residence. Authorized agencies can handle the application process, but a power of attorney is required for representation.
