For citizens of the Republic of Turkey planning to travel to Turkmenistan, visa procedures vary depending on the type of passport. Holders of Diplomatic (Black), Service (Gray), and Special (Green) passports are exempt from visas for visits up to 30 days. However, these travelers are required to obtain an official invitation from Turkmenistan prior to any special-purpose travel.
