Before applying, ensure that your passport has been issued within the last 10 years and has at least two blank pages. Copies of previous Schengen visas in your old passports should also be provided, as travel history contributes to the success of your application. Make sure all documents are current and complete. Do not make your first entry to Bulgaria using a Schengen visa obtained from another EU country. During your trip, always carry hotel confirmation, travel health insurance, green insurance, and international driving license.
