Turkish citizens planning a business trip, trade fair, conference, commercial agreement, or work-related travel must apply for an M-type Business Visa. China Business Visa Application Process
China visa applications are evaluated by the consulate, and you may be called for an interview if necessary. To obtain a multiple-entry (1-year) business visa, at least two previous entries to China are required.
Before traveling, it is recommended to check that vaccines such as hepatitis, typhoid, measles, and diphtheria are up to date. Border authorities may request your vaccination card, so it is advised to carry it with you.

- Passport (valid for at least 6 months after travel, including old passports)
- Copy of ID
- 2 biometric photos
- Commercial official invitation from China (stamped-signed and containing company information)
- Company letterhead petition (duty, reason for travel, and dates specified)
- Criminal record (registry + archive record must be included together)
- Bank account statement (stamped and signed)
- Flight and hotel reservations

- Signature circulars
- Trade Registry Gazette
- Social Security statement / Employment certificate
- Payslips (last 3 months – stamped and signed)
- Declaration (issued on behalf of the company employee)
- License and authorized ID photocopy of the company in China
All information in the application file must be complete, verifiable, and consistent.
Processing Time
If no additional review is required, China Business Visa applications are generally processed within 7 working days. Official holidays, high volume, or additional document requests may extend this period. It is recommended to start your application at least 1 month before travel.
Visa Rejection Conditions
Approval is fully at the discretion of the consulate. The following may result in rejection:
- Incomplete or incorrect documents
- Mismatch between information and documents
- Previous visa violations
- Insufficient financial evidence
- Lack of proof of intent to return
In case of rejection, your documents can be revised and the application process restarted.
