China visa applications require two separate payments: the consulate visa fee and the service fee of the visa application center. Consulate fees are exempt from VAT, so VAT is not applied to these amounts. Only the service fee paid to the visa application center is subject to VAT.
Application and Document Process
Prepared documents are classified by the consulate or embassy according to the type of application. On the appointment day, the visa application center will review your documents and may request additional documents if needed. Visa fees are determined based on the content of your invitation and the number of entries. Multiple-entry or double-entry visa applications require consulate approval to be processed.
The visa application center only collects, reviews, and forwards your documents to the relevant office. The center cannot intervene in the outcome of your application, provide guarantees, or make decisions. The final decision is at the discretion of the consulate. If your application is rejected, the consulate fee or the application center fee will not be refunded.
Express Applications
Express applications can only be processed with consulate approval. By paying the express service fee, the visa can be issued in 4 business days instead of the standard 7 business days. The consulate generally does not accept express applications unless there is an urgent situation. In such cases (health issues, flight tickets, travel to another country, funeral, etc.), you must notify the consulate of the urgency and obtain approval.

China visa fees must be paid in cash USD at the visa application center on the appointment day. Online payment or bank transfer is not accepted. You must have the exact amount ready on the appointment day. TL or other currencies are not accepted.
