🇫🇮 Finland Commercial Visa
The Finland commercial visa is the type of visa that must be applied for by applicants traveling to Finland for business meetings, official visits, conferences, seminars, short-term training programs, trade fairs, and similar commercial purposes. Since Finland is a member of the Schengen Area, this visa is also considered within the scope of the Schengen visa.

📝 Required Documents for Finland Commercial Visa
All documents to be submitted in Finland commercial visa applications must be up to date. Documents can be in Turkish, English, or Finnish. Photocopies are accepted only for documents with a “same as original” stamp; otherwise, the originals are not returned.
Passport: The passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the end of travel, not older than 10 years, and must have at least 2 blank pages. Copies of the identity page, stamps, visas, and, if any, previous Schengen, USA, or UK visas must also be submitted.
Visa Application Form: The Finland visa application form is filled out online. You can get support from experts in filling out the form.
Biometric Photographs: 2 photographs, 35x45 mm in size, with a white background.
Copy of Identity Card: A photocopy of your ID, front and back.
Population Registration Certificate: The certificate must include complete family information and must be in English format or translated into English by a sworn translator.
Salary Slip: Salary slips for the last 3 months, stamped and signed. Must be in English format or translated by a sworn translator.
Bank Account Statement: Bank statement for the last 3 months showing a balance of at least 70,000 TL, stamped and signed, together with the bank’s signature circular. Must be in English format or translated by a sworn translator.
Documents Proving the Purpose of Travel:
- Invitation Letter: From the company in Finland, on company letterhead, stamped and signed. A copy of the inviter’s Finnish ID and passport must be attached.
- Exhibition Participation Certificate: A participation card or official document related to the exhibition you will attend.

Depending on the applicant’s status, the following documents must be submitted:
- For employees: A leave letter written by the employer, the SGK employment entry notification, or service record.
- For Company Owners: Chamber of Commerce registration and trade registry, trade gazette copy, tax certificate.
- For Farmers: Certificate of farming approved by the Chamber of Agriculture.
- For retirees: Retirement certificate or account booklet.
- For Students: Student certificate.
- For those under 18 years old: Notarized consent form.
All documents must be in English or translated into English by a sworn translator.
🛠 Additional Services
- Travel Health Insurance: Travel health insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000, valid in all Schengen countries. For short-term trips, this service is included in the consultancy fee.
- Hotel and Flight Reservation: A purchased ticket is not mandatory for the application. Reservation support is provided. It is advised not to make a payment before your visa is finalized.
- Cargo/Courier Service: After processing, your passport can be sent to your address by courier upon request.
🕒 Finland Commercial Visa Processing Time
The average processing time for Finland commercial visa applications is 8–15 business days. Applications are examined only by the Embassy of Finland in Ankara. Applications made outside Ankara may take 1–2 additional days due to the transfer of documents. During official holidays, processing times may be extended due to workload. The Embassy may request additional documents or information and may call applicants for an interview.
