🇮🇪 Ireland Visit / Family Visa
Dear Visitor, welcome. The Irish Consulate has no regional restrictions, and fingerprint submission is not required. Visa applications from all regions of Turkey are accepted. All passport types (Service, Diplomatic, Special, Ordinary) require a visa, and travelers must obtain their visa from Turkey before traveling.
All documents for the Ireland visa must be in English. Turkish citizens with a UK visa can enter the Republic of Ireland if their first entry is from England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland.
Average processing time: 35 business days.
📌 Required Documents for Ireland Family/Visit Visa
Personal Documents:
- Copy of ID card
- Passport and previous visas; for short-term visa, passport must be valid for 6 months after the visa end date, for long-term visa 12 months
- Last 6 months’ bank statement (minimum balance 5,000 TRY, stamped and signed)
- Copy of rental income, property deed, or vehicle registration
- Full population registration certificate (translated into English)
Documents from the Host:
- Invitation letter (stating travel duration and compliance with visa rules)
- Current utility bill (electricity, water, gas)
- Documents proving relationship (birth certificate, marriage certificate, photos, etc.)
- Copy of host’s passport or residence permit
- Bank statement if the host will cover expenses
Professional Documents:
- Employee: English work letter, activity certificate, salary slip, SGK employment document
- Business owner: English visa request letter, activity certificate, trade registry copy, tax certificate, signature circular
- Civil servant: Work and leave approval, ID copy
- Lawyer: Bar registration, trade registry, tax certificate
- Retired: Retirement certificate
- Student: English student certificate
- Under 18: Notarized consent letter (signed by both parents, translated into English)
Sponsor Documents:
The sponsor must provide documents according to their profession and submit a letter stating they will cover all expenses.

- Average visa processing: 35 business days
- Visa can be single or multiple entry; multiple entry visas are issued only in special cases
- Visa duration: 3 months
- Ireland visa does not allow entry to the UK or Schengen countries; only UK visa holders can enter Ireland
- Travel health insurance must be issued for Ireland
