🇮🇹 Italy Visa Appointment
Dear visitor, welcome to our page where you can find all the details about obtaining an Italy visa appointment. Italy visa appointments are made online and are subject to a fee. However, at Marsel Visa, your appointment is included as part of our consultancy service, and no extra payment is required for this process.
Once your documents are delivered to us via courier, cargo, or in person, your application process begins. Please be cautious against individuals or companies who request separate payment only for booking an appointment. At Marsel Visa, your appointment is scheduled securely after your file has been fully prepared and checked, ensuring that you will not encounter problems due to missing or incorrect documents.
📌 How to Book an Italy Visa Appointment?
Your Italy visa appointment is scheduled at an authorized visa application center where your biometric data will be collected. The date of the appointment is determined based on both the workload of the application center and your availability. Our operations team confirms this with you in writing and verbally.
The day before your appointment, our external operations team contacts you again with a detailed explanation. On the day of your appointment, one of our representatives will meet you at the application center and guide you through the process smoothly.
If you need to reschedule your appointment due to urgent matters or unforeseen situations, you can contact your Marsel Visa representative to arrange a new date. In such cases, the validity of your documents is re-checked. For example, barcode-stamped documents obtained via e-government (SGK service statement, residence certificate, civil registry, employment entry) are only valid for 15 days, and company or bank documents are valid for about one month. Updated documents may be required if your appointment is postponed.
If you have given biometric data (fingerprints) for a Schengen visa within the last 59 months (4 years and 11 months), you may not need to attend the application center again. However, fingerprints given for non-Schengen countries (USA, UK, India, Canada, etc.) are not valid. The Consulate may also request new fingerprints even if you have provided them before. Children under 12 years old are exempt from fingerprinting.
🕒 Italy Visa Appointment and Processing Time
To be accepted for processing, your Italy visa application must be submitted at least 15 working days before your planned travel date. Once your file is delivered to the application center, it is forwarded to the Consulate the next day.
The average processing time is 15 working days, though this may be extended depending on the Consulate’s workload, national holidays, or special circumstances. For applications submitted through the authorized centers in Kadıköy, Bursa, or Trabzon, processing may take an additional two days. For non-Turkish citizens, applications may take up to 15 working days.
📌 Convenience with Marsel Visa
After your file is submitted to the authorized visa center, it reaches the Italian Consulate the next working day. From that point forward, our operations team checks the status of your application regularly and informs you of any updates. You can always contact your country expert directly for up-to-date information.
At Marsel Visa, we provide professional consultancy services for all stages of your visa process — including document preparation, verification, appointment scheduling, submission, and follow-up until the result is announced.
