🇲🇾 Malaysia Business Visa and Required Documents

Turkish citizens are exempt from visa requirements for business trips to Malaysia up to 30 days under the visa exemption agreement signed between Türkiye and Malaysia. Turkish passport holders are entitled to stay in Malaysia for 30 days upon each entry. However, for business visits exceeding 30 days, it is necessary to apply for a long-term visa through the Embassy of Malaysia.

For business-related travel to Malaysia, it is strongly recommended to obtain a business invitation letter from a Malaysian company or institution, as border security officials may request this document during entry checks.

📌 Important Security Advisories

  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye has designated the eastern coast of Sabah State in Malaysia as the “Eastern Sabah Security Zone” due to security concerns. Travelers are advised to avoid non-essential travel to this region.
  • Overland travel from Malaysia to Thailand is not recommended due to the security situation in Southern Thailand.
