🏝 General Information About Mexico Family Visit Visa
The Mexico electronic visa (SAE) grants a single-entry right to the country. After receiving your electronic visa, you can enter Mexico within 30 days and stay in the country for up to 180 days.
Holders of Turkish Republic Ordinary (Bordo), Special (Green), and Service (Gray) passports are required to obtain a visa. Holders of Diplomatic (Black/Red) passports are exempt from visa requirements for travel to Mexico.
The Mexico electronic visa is valid only for air travel. You must ensure that the airline is registered in the SAE system before booking your flight; otherwise, the electronic visa will be invalid.

📝 Mexico Electronic Visa Application
The Mexico online visa application system (EOS) was developed to ensure the security of travelers. Once your application is approved, the visa approval document will be provided.
The electronic visa is valid for citizens of Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine and has no category distinction. You can apply for an electronic visa for short-term family, friends, or relative visits, tourism, business, or education purposes.
If your travel will exceed six months, you must apply for a Mexico residence permit. For residence permits, it is recommended to contact the Mexico Consulate directly.
You can apply for a Mexico electronic visa for any travel up to 180 days.
🌎 Mexico Visa Application Regions
Mexico consulates in Turkey have no regional restrictions. Applications can be submitted from any city in Turkey.
- Ankara: Residents of Ankara and nearby areas can submit scanned documents. Applications are completed within 1 business day.
- İzmir: Residents of Izmir and surrounding areas can submit scanned documents online or through the office. After visa approval, entry to Mexico is allowed within 1 month with a stay of up to 180 days.
- Muğla: Residents of Muğla and its districts can submit scanned documents, and the electronic visa is processed within 1 business day.

Mexico electronic visa applications are usually processed within 1 business day. To avoid issues, it is recommended to complete your application at least 4 days before your travel date. Processing times may be longer during public holidays or periods of high demand.

The Mexico electronic visa is valid only for air travel. Travel by land or sea does not allow entry with this visa.
Even with a visa, the final decision on entry is made by Mexico border authorities. During your travel, it is recommended to have the following documents with you:
