For business and official travel, the inviting company in Uzbekistan must apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan with a petition. After review, the Ministry transmits the result with the Telex number to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
The authority to evaluate and finalize visa applications belongs solely to the Embassy and Consulate General of Uzbekistan. The petition to the Ministry must specify to which representation the Telex number will be sent.If you do not have a Telex number, your visa procedure may take 15–20 working days. If you already have a Telex number, your application will be processed without delay and finalized in about 3 working days.
İzmir Applications
Applicants in İzmir and surrounding provinces should prepare their documents according to the instructions in the information email. Submitting documents in accordance with consular guidelines will prevent delays. There are no jurisdiction restrictions, so applications can be completed directly from İzmir.
Edirne Applications
Applicants residing in Edirne and nearby areas can complete their visa applications through the Marsel Visa Edirne office. For applications from outside Istanbul, please ensure you have sufficient time as courier delivery may cause delays of 1–2 days.

📌 Uzbekistan Visa on Arrival
There is no visa-on-arrival application for Turkish citizens in Uzbekistan. Turkish citizens must complete their visa procedures before traveling. Visa on arrival is only available for foreign nationals residing in countries where Uzbekistan does not have a diplomatic representation. These individuals can obtain their visas at the visa unit of Tashkent International Airport, but only after securing an official invitation approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan prior to travel. The applicant must present this invitation when purchasing the ticket and upon entry into Uzbekistan.
🏠 Uzbekistan Business Visa – Temporary Residence Registration
- If you plan to stay in Uzbekistan for more than 3 days, you must register with the Ministry of Internal Affairs after arrival. A registration stamp will be placed in your passport.
- If you are staying at a hotel, the hotel management will handle the registration process.
- The registration fee starts from 20 USD and is collected in the national currency. The amount varies depending on the length of stay.
- Holders of Diplomatic passports, government delegations, their family members, technical staff, UN passport holders, and individuals under 18 are exempt from this procedure.
- Border officers may check your passport at any time, and if no registration stamp is found, fines may be imposed based on the duration of unregistered stay.
