📑 Required Documents for Uzbekistan Tourist Visa
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date of travel.
- 2 Biometric Photos: Photos must reflect your current appearance, be taken on a white background, and measure 35x45 mm.
- Company Petition: Must be written on the company’s letterhead, addressed to the Uzbekistan Consulate, signed and stamped by an authorized person. The petition must include the employee’s leave dates.

⚠️ Holders of Special, Service, and Ordinary Turkish passports are subject to a visa. Holders of Diplomatic passports are exempt from visa requirements for stays up to 90 days.

Bursa Applications
Applicants residing in Bursa and surrounding cities can complete their procedures quickly through our Bursa office. Once your documents are submitted, your application will be finalized shortly. However, please note that applications from outside Istanbul may experience 1–2 days of delay due to shipping.
Ankara Applications
Applicants living in Ankara and surrounding cities may send their documents to our Ankara office. Your documents will be checked, your form will be filled out, and your application will be submitted.
İzmir Applications
Applicants from İzmir and nearby provinces may contact our İzmir office to learn about the procedure. Applicants residing outside Istanbul should confirm with our representative which office will handle their application.
📝 Uzbekistan Telex Number
Regardless of the category (Tourist, Business, Family Visit), entry to Uzbekistan is not possible without a Telex number. The Telex number serves as an official invitation and is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
For tourist visas, the inviting tourism company submits a petition to the Ministry. Once approved, the Ministry transmits the Telex number to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
If you do not have a Telex number, your application may take 15–20 working days to be processed. Therefore, it is important to inform our representative whether you have a Telex number.
🕒 How Long Does an Uzbekistan Tourist Visa Take?
Under normal conditions, an Uzbekistan visa is finalized within 3 working days. However, if you do not have a Telex number, the process may take 15–20 working days.
Processing times may vary depending on official holidays and the workload of the Embassy and Consulate. It is recommended that you apply at least 20 days before your travel date.
🏠 Uzbekistan Temporary Residence Registration
- Travelers staying in Uzbekistan for more than 3 days must register with the local Ministry of Interior office. A registration stamp will be placed in your passport.
- If you are staying in a hotel, the hotel management will handle the registration on your behalf.
- The registration fee starts from 20 USD and may increase depending on your length of stay.
- If your passport does not have a registration stamp, you may be fined during passport controls.
- Holders of Diplomatic passports, government delegations, their family members, technical staff, UN passport holders, and individuals under 18 are exempt from this procedure.
