🇷🇴 Romania Business Visa

Dear Visitor,

Welcome to our Romania Business Visa page. The Romania visa does not operate under the Schengen category, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings. While Schengen visa holders can travel to Romania without a visa, holders of a Romania visa cannot enter any European country without a separate visa.

Regardless of the purpose of your trip to Romania, you must obtain a Romania visa. For business-related travel, including fairs, meetings, agreements, or feasibility studies, you must apply under the business visa category. Diplomatic, Service, and Special Passport holders are exempt from visas, whereas Ordinary Passport holders are required to obtain one.

Romania is part of the Schengen countries. Visa procedures are conducted according to the rules and conditions set by the region. Romania requires a visa appointment and completes the interview process through consulates operating under the supervision of the Embassy.

Romania consulate visa centers are located in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir and operate regionally. The nearest consulate to you will be designated as the address where your interview will take place.

In Romania visa applications, the documents required may vary depending on the applicant’s professional and occupational status. We recommend sharing your personal and professional details with our consultants to receive a preliminary document list and begin your visa process accordingly.

All your questions about Romania business visas, such as “How long does a Romania visa take?”, “Where can I get a Romania business invitation?”, or “How much is a Romania visa?”, can be directed to our consultants. For contact details of our nearest branch or center, please click to reach us.

📝 Romania Visa Procedures

Romania visa procedures are conducted under the supervision of the Romania Embassy in Ankara and its assigned consulates. No third party can be involved or influence the decision.

The Romania Embassy has designated consulates regionally. When you apply, you will be required to attend an interview at the visa processing center on the assigned date and time. Outside this process, the consulate may request you to attend a secondary interview or submit additional or alternative documents.

As with Schengen visas, documents such as bank statements must be issued within the last ten days for Istanbul applications. For applications from Ankara and Izmir, bank documents must comply with the current validity period.

You can learn about the latest updates and diplomatic developments regarding Romania business visas from our country specialists and direct any questions to them.

📝 Romania Visa Application

You should apply for a Romania visa only after your visit purpose, duration, and travel plan are fully clarified. Changes in your visit purpose will directly affect the required documents.

Your Romania business visa application begins with filling out the online form and continues with uploading your personalized documents into the system. After submission, your file will be reviewed based on legal compliance and whether it meets visa requirements, and your application will be finalized accordingly.
