🇩🇰 Denmark Business Visa

Turkish citizens who wish to travel to Denmark for business meetings, conferences, fairs, or other commercial purposes are required to obtain a business visa prior to their journey. Since Denmark is part of the Schengen area, business visa applications are assessed according to Schengen procedures. If the applicant does not have a valid Schengen visa obtained within the last three years, biometric data submission, meaning fingerprints, is mandatory. This regulation has been in force in all Schengen countries since September 25, 2014.

Applications are accepted through visa application centers authorized by the Consulate of Denmark. The main steps of the process include completing the application form accurately, preparing all required documents, submitting biometric data, and paying the consular fees.

📝 Required Documents for Denmark Business Visa

The first step in business visa applications is to complete and sign the Denmark Schengen visa application form without any omissions. The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the return date of travel, must contain at least two blank pages, and if available, previous passports must also be presented. Copies of all used pages of passports issued within the last ten years must also be included in the application file.

One of the most important documents is the invitation letter from the company in Denmark. This invitation must be written on the company’s letterhead, stamped and signed, and must clearly state the address, contact details, purpose of visit, and duration of stay. For fair participation, an entry pass or official participation documents from the organizer must also be added to the file.

Biometric photo requirements must also be strictly followed. Two photographs, taken within the last six months, sized 3.5 x 4.5 cm, with a white background, must be included in the application file. The photo must fully meet biometric standards and show the applicant’s face clearly. In addition, the last three months’ bank account statements, salary slips showing regular income, and the entry-exit document to be obtained via e-Government must be provided.

Depending on the applicant’s professional status, additional documents must be prepared. For employees under social security, a company letter prepared on the employer’s letterhead must state the employee’s job title, length of service, and confirmation that the employee will continue working after returning from the trip. In addition, the last three months’ salary slips, the SGK employment entry declaration, the SGK service record, the employer’s certificate of activity, chamber of commerce registration, trade registry gazette, tax certificate, and signature circular must be submitted.

For company owners, up-to-date company documents such as certificate of activity, trade registry gazette, tax certificate, and signature circular are required. Farmers must submit a valid certificate from the chamber of agriculture to which they are affiliated. The Danish authorities reserve the right to request additional documents if deemed necessary.

The travel health insurance must be valid in the entire Schengen area and have a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros.
