In 2025, Austrian Consulates will not provide application or processing services on designated official holidays. When planning your trip or preparing to apply for a visa, it is important to keep these dates in mind to avoid possible delays. During these official holidays, consulates will be closed in observance of both Turkey’s national holidays and Austria’s religious and national celebrations.
The official holidays throughout the year are as follows:

06 January – Epiphany (Three Kings’ Day)
30 March – 1 April – Ramadan Feast
17 – 20 April – Easter
23 April – National Sovereignty and Children’s Day
01 May – Labour and Solidarity Day
18 May – Ascension of Jesus
19 May – Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day
29 May – Pentecost
6 – 9 June – Eid al-Adha
08 June – Corpus Christi
15 July – Democracy and National Unity Day
15 August – Assumption of Mary
30 August – Victory Day
26 October – National Day
29 October – Republic Day
01 November – All Saints’ Day
08 December – Immaculate Conception
24 December – Christmas Eve
25 December – Christmas Day
26 December – St. Stephen’s Day
31 December – New Year’s Eve
