🇦🇹 Austria Visa Appointment

Dear visitor, welcome to our Austria visa appointment page. On this page, you can find detailed information about the appointment procedures required in the visa application process for trips to Austria for purposes such as tourism, business, cultural activities, or family visits that do not exceed 90 days.

Turkish citizens holding an ordinary passport are subject to a visa for tourism, business, or family visits to Austria. The visa process is a multi-step procedure that must be carried out with care. The Austrian Consulate requires an appointment for applications to be considered and authorizes designated application centers to handle the process. These centers are responsible for procedures such as collecting biometric data, receiving the consular fee, and accepting application documents.

A visa appointment consists of submitting the application file, paying the necessary fees, and completing biometric procedures. If the file is incomplete, the application centers have the authority to reject it at the initial stage. Therefore, to have a successful visa appointment, it is crucial to apply with a complete, error-free, purpose-appropriate, and consistent set of documents.

📌 How to Make an Austria Visa Appointment?

The Austria visa appointment schedule may vary depending on the seasonal workload of the consulates. Especially during busy periods such as summer holidays, public holidays, and New Year, available appointment dates may be set for much later. Austria visa applications can be made up to 6 months before and no later than 15 days before the planned trip. Therefore, it is advisable to apply in a timely manner.

Visa appointments are made through the application centers authorized by the Austrian Consulate. Since consulates have regional jurisdiction, the appointment must be made at the authorized center according to the applicant’s place of residence. These centers are located in Istanbul, Ankara, Edirne, Bursa, Izmir, Gaziantep, Trabzon, Antalya, and Bodrum.

The appointment process is carried out via an online platform. When making the appointment, the details in the passport—such as name, surname, passport number, and date of birth—must be accurate and complete. Any inconsistency in the information may render the appointment invalid.

The Austria Schengen visa appointment is free of charge. However, since your passport details are required, it is advised not to share this information with individuals or organizations you do not trust.

🕒 Visa Processing Time

Austria Schengen visa applications are generally finalized within 15 working days. However, this period may be extended if the consulate requests additional documents or due to high workload. The consulate reserves the right to request additional documents from the applicant at any time. To avoid delays in travel plans, it is recommended to apply as early as possible.
