The Embassy of Spain in Ankara is the highest official representation of Spain in Türkiye. The Embassy not only carries out diplomatic relations but also plays an important role in strengthening political, economic, cultural, and social ties between Türkiye and Spain. In addition, it provides consular services to Spanish citizens living or traveling in Türkiye, assisting them with all official procedures they may require.

The Embassy of Spain in Ankara accepts visa applications from citizens of the Republic of Türkiye as well as third-country nationals residing in its jurisdiction. Visa evaluation processes are carried out directly by the consular section, and applications are accepted strictly through an appointment system.

The Embassy of Spain in Ankara covers a wide jurisdiction including 43 provinces in Türkiye. These provinces are: Adana, Adıyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Ağrı, Aksaray, Amasya, Ankara, Ardahan, Batman, Bayburt, Bingöl, Bitlis, Çankırı, Çorum, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Gümüşhane, Hakkâri, Hatay, Iğdır, Kahramanmaraş, Karaman, Kars, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Kilis, Konya, Kütahya, Malatya, Mardin, Mersin, Muş, Nevşehir, Niğde, Osmaniye, Siirt, Sivas, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, Tokat, Tunceli and Uşak. Applicants residing in these provinces must submit their visa applications through the Embassy of Spain in Ankara, while those living in other provinces must apply via the Consulate General of Spain in Istanbul.

🕒 Working Hours of the Embassy of Spain in Ankara

The Embassy of Spain in Ankara provides services from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:30. Visa applications are accepted only between 09:30 and 12:00. Spanish citizens who wish to benefit from consular services can do so between 09:00 and 15:00.

📑 Visa Applications at the Embassy of Spain in Ankara

The Embassy of Spain in Ankara accepts and processes visa applications of both Turkish citizens and third-country nationals. Applications are made through an appointment system and must be submitted via authorized visa application centers. As Spain is a member of the Schengen Agreement, applicants must apply for a Schengen Visa for stays of up to 90 days and a National Visa for stays exceeding 90 days.
