🇪🇸 Spain Business Visa
Dear Visitor, welcome to the Spain Tourist Visa page of Marsel Visa.
Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports who will travel to Spain for business purposes such as fairs, seminars, business meetings, or other commercial events are required to apply for the Spain Business Visa category. The most important document in business visa applications is the invitation letter from the Spanish company. This letter must include the full contact details of the inviting company, as well as the complete personal and contact details of the invited person. If the inviting company will cover the expenses of the applicant, this sponsorship must also be clearly stated in the invitation letter and supported with documents.
As of 2025, the Spanish Consulate requires that there be at least 15 business days between the appointment date and the travel date for business visa applications. Applications that do not comply with this rule are not accepted. If the applicant will attend a fair, the entry ticket or participation certificate must also be included in the application file. The personal documents to be submitted differ according to the applicant’s professional situation. Employees and business owners must prepare different sets of documents. Furthermore, Spain Schengen visa applications are subject to regional jurisdiction, and the consulate or embassy you must apply to will depend on your city of residence.
🏝 Required Documents for Spain Business Visa 2025
The required documents for the Spain business visa are divided into standard documents and professional documents.
Standard documents include a residence certificate, valid passport, biometric photo, copy of the national ID, full family registration certificate, and the completed application form. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip. If the applicant has held a Schengen visa within the past three years, copies of those visas must also be submitted. The bank account statement must show the last three months’ transactions, be on official bank letterhead, signed and stamped. Newly opened accounts are not accepted, and only Turkish bank accounts are valid. To demonstrate financial resources, property deeds or vehicle registrations can also be attached.
Professional documents vary depending on whether the applicant is an employee or a business owner. Employees must provide a company letter, a recent company activity certificate, trade registry gazette, tax registration, signature circular, SGK entry declaration, payrolls, and a social security statement. The company letter must clearly state the employee’s position, starting date, purpose of travel, and who will cover the expenses. If the applicant is attending a fair, the fair entry card must be included. For business owners, an English visa request petition, updated company documents, 4B social security statement, and personal bank account statement are required. In companies with partners, the personal account must be submitted instead of the company account. Bank statements must always be stamped, signed, and accompanied by a signature circular.

🕒 Important Points to Consider in Spain Business Visa Applications
The Spanish Consulate requires original documents for business visa applications. Photocopied or scanned versions of documents are not accepted. All documents must be prepared in A4 format and must not bear the stamp “Certified True Copy”. Company activity certificates must not be older than 3 months; if issued electronically, they must not be older than 30 days. Bank account statements must be issued no earlier than 7 days before the application date and must show the last three months’ activity.
Hotel and flight reservations should not be finalized before the visa is issued. Even if your business visa is approved, this does not guarantee entry into Spain. The final decision regarding entry and the permitted length of stay rests with the border police. If your visa is refused, you have the right to appeal to the Spanish Consulate General or the Spanish Embassy within 30 days.
