🇪🇸 Spain Visa Appointment

For short-term stays in Spain such as tourism, business, cultural trips, or other purposes not exceeding 90 days, as well as long-term stays exceeding 90 days such as education, internship, work, or family reunification, it is mandatory to first obtain a Spain visa appointment before applying. Visa applications can be made either through application centers authorized by the Consulate or directly at the Spanish Consulate, depending on the type of visa requested.

At Marsel Visa, our consultants handle all Spain visa appointment procedures on your behalf. Once you specify the visa category you wish to apply for, a tailored list of required documents will be provided to you. After your documents are submitted to us, your appointment is booked in line with your visa category.

📌 Schengen Visa Appointment

For short-term trips to Spain not exceeding 90 days, a Schengen visa appointment must be obtained. Schengen visa appointments are scheduled through the application centers authorized by the Spanish Consulate. While the application centers are responsible for receiving the application files, the final evaluation and decision authority belongs entirely to the Spanish Consulate.

Schengen visa appointments can be booked for tourist visas, business visas, family/relative/friend visit visas, cultural visas, seafarer visas, transit visas, and student visas for studies less than 90 days. Appointment booking itself is free of charge; however, on the day of the appointment, the Consular visa fee and the application center’s service fee must be paid.

At Marsel Visa, our services are not limited to scheduling appointments. We also prepare the complete document list according to your travel purpose and professional background, check your documents for accuracy, and ensure that your file is ready for submission on your appointment date. Applicants who have obtained a Schengen visa within the last five years are not required to appear in person at the application center; in such cases, Marsel Visa submits the file on their behalf. However, applicants who do not meet this requirement must appear in person on the appointment date to provide biometric fingerprints.

📝 Appointment for Long-Term Residence Visas

For long-term stays such as education, internship, employment, family reunification, or residence without a work permit, applicants must obtain their visa appointment directly from the Spanish Consulate. These appointments are booked through the official website of the application center, but the interview itself takes place at the Consulate relevant to the applicant’s place of residence. During the appointment, an authorized officer conducts an interview to assess the applicant’s stated purpose of residence. The goal is to ensure that the applicant explains their reasons and intentions for residence directly before the Consulate.

For such long-term visa categories, Marsel Visa also provides full support, including preparing the list of required documents, booking the appointment, compiling the application file, and tracking the passport process.

📌 Can I Book My Own Appointment?

Applicants may book their own appointments if they wish. However, the appointment process is an integral part of the visa application procedure and must be carried out in coordination with proper document preparation. Appointments made without prior preparation often lead to incomplete submissions, which may result in visa refusals and wasted time.

Marsel Visa consultants arrange your appointment by taking into account both the preparation period for your documents and the time required to meet your travel date. This ensures that your time is used efficiently and your application is submitted under the best possible conditions.
